Terms of Service

Last updated: March 31, 2026

1. Eligibility

The AutoHDR Image Grouping Challenge (“Challenge”) is open only to individuals who are legally residing in the United States and who are currently seeking employment or open to new job opportunities. By registering, you confirm that you meet both of these requirements.

Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Employees of AutoHDR, Inc. and their immediate family members are not eligible. AutoHDR reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time and to disqualify participants who do not meet these requirements.

2. Registration

To participate, you must register at bounty.autohdr.com with a valid US phone number and verify your identity. You must use the same email address on both the registration site and Codabench. Each person may register only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent submission limits or other rules will result in disqualification.

3. The Challenge

Participants submit Docker containers that group real estate photos by camera angle. Submissions are evaluated against a private test set. Scoring is based on exact group matches — no partial credit is awarded. Detailed scoring methodology is available on the competition page.

4. Submissions

Participants are limited to 3 submissions per day and 100 submissions total. Each submission must be a publicly accessible Docker image. Submissions run in a sandboxed environment with no internet access. Containers that attempt to exfiltrate data, attack infrastructure, or otherwise act maliciously will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Prizes

A total of $50,000 in cash prizes will be awarded: 1st Place $25,000, 2nd Place $15,000, 3rd Place $10,000. Winners must provide valid tax information (W-9) before prizes are distributed. Prizes are subject to applicable taxes.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your submitted code and algorithms. By participating, you grant AutoHDR, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submission results (scores and predictions) for the purpose of operating the Challenge and publishing leaderboard results. AutoHDR does not claim ownership of your source code or Docker containers.

7. Conduct

Participants agree to compete fairly and in good faith. Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: reverse-engineering the test set, sharing answers or test data, submitting on behalf of others, and any form of collusion. AutoHDR reserves the right to disqualify any participant for violating these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Challenge is provided “as is.” AutoHDR, Inc. is not liable for any technical failures, scoring errors, or service interruptions. AutoHDR reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Challenge at any time. In no event shall AutoHDR's total liability exceed the total prize pool amount.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

10. Changes to Terms

AutoHDR reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the competition Discord server. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
